Hi Michael... Your creations are fantastic! I find myself quite moved as I explore your work. I think there is much peace... the pieces move me with great pause. When I was at university I neglected to take any art classes. I was enchanted with writing so there was no room for art. I regret that to this day. I cannot make educated comments about your work, your so beautiful and awe striking work. But I can tell you I am full with great emotion when I admire it. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

It is beautiful, Michael!
Thank you for everything. It is my favorite piece of art that I have in my home and even more gorgeous than in the picture. The colors are perfect!!!! I appreciate you doing this for me and I thank you. You are an extremely talented artist.

The first taste of Michael Bond's art came to me through my yoga studio. I connected to my practice and was going to class six days a week. Everyday, the painting "La Guerra Y La Paz" would catch my eye, and I would find myself studying it before class started. The rich texture of the painting, coupled with the intense use of color, is what initially drew me in. Several of Michael's paintings displayed throughout the studio, which added to the peacefulness and serenity of the studio and its space.
I was awarded the opportunity to obtain one of Michael's paintings through the studio, and I was thrilled. It would be the first painting I would ever purchase, and I was very excited (I've received paintings as gifts, but never purchased one). When I learned the painting I wanted had already been acquired, Michael generously offered to commission a painting for me. I was so thrilled! I wanted something similar, and we had a few email exchanges.
Within a few weeks, I serendipitously met Michael in person at the yoga studio for the first time. We had a brief conversation that was so profound and existential. We talked about what drew me to his paintings; in particular, what drew me to the painting I originally wanted to purchase. At this point in my personal journey, I was going through the loss of a relationship and was learning about myself; I wasn't sure of my identity outside of the relationship. It was a difficult, painful time of my life. Michael revealed the painting I wanted was created out of a similar situation, and it was amazing to have a connection over something we all experience at one time or another. Shortly after our conversation, Michael presented to me a digital concept of my commissioned piece. It was perfect. The concept was spot-on - "although there are tears, there is also a crossroads, and at that crossroads there is a doorway filled with light providing a new path to go forward." I couldn't wait to see it.
Two weeks later, Michael emailed me a picture of the final piece. I was completely in awe! I couldn't wait to receive it! When I received the painting in person, tears streamed down my face. The rich texture, the colors, everything that drew me in initially to his art was present. This painting was different though.
I am not an artist; I am a literary creative at best. It was truly amazing to have someone who barely knew me perfectly capture my path of personal growth in a way I never could. It was truly an honor to have worked with Michael and to have his art hanging in my home, my personal space. Everyone who has seen the digital picture was in awe - in person, it takes their breath away. I am so, so proud to say "After The Tears" is my first commission piece, and I couldn't be happier.

I am writing this letter on behalf of Michael Bond. His amazing paintings have been displayed at my yoga studio and wellness center for the past 9 months. I cannot even begin to convey how grateful I have been for his work. His paintings have greatly enhanced both of our yoga studios, hallways, retail area and sitting/meditation space. Students, teachers and clients of the wellness center all have commented on the beauty, spiritual depth and tranquil nature of the paintings. I personally bought two of Michael's pieces.
